1. Booking and Payment Policy
- Advance Payment: To confirm any tour package, cab service, or hotel booking, a mandatory advance payment is required.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared before the commencement of the trip or upon arrival, as agreed upon during the booking process.
- Payment Modes: We accept payments via online bank transfers, UPI, credit/debit cards, and cash.
- Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but once a booking is confirmed with an advance payment, the agreed-upon price will be honored.
2. Cancellation and Refund PolicyIf you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following standard cancellation rules will apply:
- 30+ days before the trip: 10% - 20% of the advance amount will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
- 15 to 30 days before the trip: A 50% cancellation fee will apply.
- Less than 7 days or 'No Show': No refund will be provided.
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds may take 7 to 10 working days to process. Refunds will be credited back to the original mode of payment.
3. Itinerary Changes and Unforeseen Circumstances
- Schedule Changes: Jharkhand Travel Point makes every effort to operate tours as strictly planned. However, we reserve the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, landslides, roadblocks, political strikes, or natural disasters.
- Additional Costs: Any additional expenses incurred due to such delays or alterations (e.g., extra hotel nights, meals, or alternate transport) must be borne entirely by the customer.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Valid ID Proof: All travelers must carry a valid, original Government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc.) throughout the trip.
- Luggage Safety: Customers are solely responsible for the safety of their personal belongings, valuables, electronics, and cash. Jharkhand Travel Point will not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to your luggage.
- Punctuality: Travelers are requested to strictly follow the timings given by the driver or tour guide to ensure that the itinerary is completed smoothly without inconveniencing others.
5. Limitation of Liability
- Third-Party Services: Jharkhand Travel Point acts as a tour operator and travel agent. We arrange services provided by third-party vendors (hotels, airlines, transport operators). We are not directly liable for any deficiency in service, delays, or misconduct by these independent contractors.
- Health and Safety: We are not liable for any physical injury, accident, illness, or loss of life during the trip. We highly recommend that all travelers purchase valid Travel Insurance before their journey.
6. Use of the Website
- Intellectual Property: All content, images, itineraries, and text on our website are the property of Jharkhand Travel Point. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use of our content is strictly prohibited.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising from these terms, bookings, or services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
